We’re very excited to introduce our friend’s new glamping site – Savage Glamping. If you’ve not confirmed your summer plans yet or couldn’t get THAT booking – give them a go. As they are new, they still have reservations available – but be quick as they won’t be around long.
Here’s Lucy to share her new Family Glamping experience:
I can’t believe that in a couple of weeks we open our new family business, Savage Glamping. I find it even more surreal that this time last year I was in the middle of chemotherapy for breast cancer. Back then I would NEVER have thought that we’d be here in Suffolk (having moved from Hertfordshire), on the brink of launching our own glampsite. But it’s no surprise that cancer can make you reassess your life and what’s important. So here we are and we couldn’t be more excited!
A glamping treat for the whole family
I’m going to admit, with three kids of our own, that we’re not the greatest camping fans (have I just shot myself in the foot?)! If we’re going on holiday, we want a bit of luxury, comfort and no hassle. This meant that from the start we had a very clear vision of what was needed to make Savage Glamping feel special and a treat for the whole family.
Savage Glamping is nestled in a meadow, next to our house, in the middle of Suffolk. The site has six beautiful bell tents, each with a king-sized bed and warm bedding, and each can house an additional three single beds. They come with their own log burners so you’ll be snug no matter what the weather. There are luxury family sized shower rooms and a communal kitchen with a cooker, microwave, coffee machine, and washing machine – to save you the piles of clothes when you get home!
Go exploring or kick back and enjoy the site
And whilst there are tons of things to explore in the local area, we also want our guests to enjoy being around the glampsite. So we’re providing a fire pit and bbq/pizza oven for each tent and then there’s a huge safari tent with seating and tables for you to relax and kickback.
Whilst you enjoy the stunning Suffolk sunsets, you can let the kids rummage through our games cupboard. Or you can let them loose to play on the wooden climbing and swing area.
We’d love you to join us this summer
Bookings have just opened at savageglamping.com and there’s still availability. So please take a look whilst there are still lots of choices.
I’m in good health now () and raring to go for what’s going to be a really exciting summer. We hope to see you here soon! Lucy and the Savages x
